FROM CISD AQUATIC STAFF:
Teams attending meets at the CISD Natatorium should follow the following guidelines.

Masks must always be worn when not in the water.  Masks should be worn up to the blocks, taken off just before climbing up to start the event, and putting it back on after getting out.  Athletes should also do their best to social distance even while wearing masks.

Failure to follow the mask guideline may result in the swimmer being removed from the pool deck and the rest of the meet.  If a team has multiple swimmers that will not comply, the entire team may be asked to leave.  This decision will be made at the discretion of the Natatorium staff.

For dual meets, each team will be given a side of the pool along with the corresponding lanes.  Ready bench staging will be used to avoid crowding behind the blocks.  The swimmers should stay on their respective side of the pool, other than during entry and exit of the facility, or going to use the restrooms.

Tri meets will use a 1 direction flow of swimmers behind the blocks, with ready bench areas as well.  Each team will be given a section of the deck for seating.

All meets will have the deck sectioned off near the start end of the pool (red line on attached facility layouts), where only current heat and next heat swimmers will be allowed enter.

Bleachers will be provided with spots marked, for athletes to sit and avoid overcrowding.  Athletes may also bring their own chairs to sit in, as long as social distancing is still being maintained.

Screening will be done upon entry to the facility (via the large CISD Covid Poster in the front lobby).

Spectators will be allowed at 50% capacity.  Every other row of bleachers will be marked as closed, and spectators should sit in the open rows in their groups only, with appropriate distance between other groups.

Locker rooms will be allowed, but swimmers are required to wear their masks and maintain social distancing.
